A medical gas regulator reduces a medical gases cylinder pressure to the delivery pressure and maintains a constant pressure to assure an accurate flow rate. Each type a regulator is designed with a symbol/name for specific gas and for definite inlet and delivery pressure ranges.  Medical gases as well as medical gas regulators are manufactured to be gas specific. This alleviates the incidence of creating harmful cross connections.  Cylinder contents shall be identified by attach labels are stencils naming the contents in accordance with the mandatory requirements of CGA-C-7.

Medical Testing Solutions offers several different types of medical gas regulators:

Our multi-stage regulators are two regulators in series using a common body. The first stage (high pressure) reduces the inlet pressure approximately 90% and is preset at the factory. The second stage (low pressure) is adjustable to the desired delivery pressure.

Our single stage regulator with 15 liter per minute flowmeter attachment reduces cylinder pressure to the delivery pressure and maintains a constant pressure to assure an accurate flow rate.

A pipeline regulator operates from a source of lower pressure, usually 200 psi or less; and normally has only one gauge, which indicates the outlet pressure. Pipeline regulators must not be used on her with high-pressure gas cylinders.

Medical Testing Solutions also has the option for gauge-less regulators as well. Gauge-less regulator is used to wear rough use in gauge damage our problem. The cylinder (inlet) pressure is shown by the piston type indicator. The delivery pressure is set by the adjusting knob and shown by the calibration marks on the bonnet.
