MTS Line Ball Valves are engineered for critical medical gas pipeline applications, complying with NFPA 99 requirements. Each valve features a robust three-piece brass body with double seals, a chrome-plated brass ball, and reinforced PTFE seats and stem seals. Operation requires only a quarter turn from fully open to closed, ensuring quick and reliable shut-off. These valves are suitable for a wide range of medical gases, including USP oxygen, nitrous oxide, medical air, carbon dioxide, helium, argon, nitrogen, and mixtures thereof. Brazed Type-K copper tube extensions facilitate secure and compliant connections to the facility's medical gas piping infrastructure. Available in sizes from ½” to 4” to accommodate diverse system requirements. Each valve undergoes rigorous testing for zero leakage at a minimum of 300 psig and is meticulously oxygen cleaned, capped, and poly-bagged in accordance with CGA Pamphlet G-4.1 standards, ensuring purity and safety for medical applications. The serviceable three-piece body design allows for in-line maintenance, minimizing system downtime. Included are two 1/8” NPT ports, each with a brass hex head plug, located on either side of the ball for versatile pressure monitoring or testing. All valves are supplied with color-coded gas identification labels for clear system management, aligning with Joint Commission and NFPA 99 safety protocols.
