The Halogenated Drug Recovery (HDR) system offers an advanced solution for managing anesthetic waste in healthcare facilities. Positioned after existing Waste Anesthetic Gas Disposal (WAGD) or Anesthetic Gas Scavenging Systems (AGSS), the HDR effectively captures 99% of halogenated anesthetic gases. This significantly reduces environmental emissions, contributing to hospital sustainability goals and achieving up to a 90% CO2 reduction. The system utilizes two adsorption tanks containing proprietary Halosorb adsorbent. Operation is automated: one tank is active in adsorption mode while the other is offline. When the active tank reaches capacity, the system automatically switches to the refreshed tank, ensuring continuous operation and high capture rates. This design minimizes user intervention and maintains system efficiency. Featured gas analyzers provide precise measurement of halogenated drug levels in the exhaust, offering proactive warnings for tank replacement. This capability allows for continuous monitoring of system performance, facilitates timely service planning, and ensures uninterrupted waste management.
