Ohio Medical Mechanical Seals for Liquid Ring Vacuum Pumps 221433 Versatile mechanical seals are applicable for most liquid ring vacuum pumps, fitting into a variety of envelope dimensions. Featuring stainless steel metal components, each seal has viton elastomers, a carbon rotating face, and a Ni-resist stationary face. A rubber friction ring prevents the seal from sliding on the shaft, eliminating shaft fretting. Simple in design, the seal can be rotated in either direction, as the spring merely provides axial load.
